Share Draft Checking
A share draft account works much like a checking account. There is no minimum balance or per check charge. No matter how many drafts you write, the monthly service charge is only $2.50 per month, unless you have a qualified direct deposit, e-Statements, and a debit card. Then, your monthly fees could be waived. You will be sent a monthly statement unless you opt for e-Statements.
If you qualify for a draft account, you may be able to have an ATM card at no additional charge. If you are eligible for a check card, there is a $1.00 per month charge. Ask a staff person for more information on this service. You will be sent a monthly statement.
Students with a student ID and seniors who are 62 years or older are not charged the monthly fee. Shop around and you will see this is a very competitive account. Remember, all credit union share accounts are federally insured to $250,000 by NCUA.
